  • Secretary of State upholds planning appeal Wednesday, October 24, 2012

Following the public inquiry in April and May 2012 into the decision by Stratford-on-Avon District Council to refuse planning permission for the West of Stratford development proposal for 800 new homes, Eric Pickles Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government has this week upheld the appeal.

Mr Pickles' decison follows consideration of the Planning Inspector's report that recommended that the appeal be allowed and outline planning permission be granted.
